Membership Status information
UU Peace is an "emerging" fellowship...
This means the members have not yet joined the Unitarian
Universalist Association (UUA) and its Southeast-regional
affiliate, the Thomas Jefferson District. But it is on the path
toward committing to a Fair Shair contribution and taking part of
the many religious resources the UUA offers to its member
congregations.
Transferring your Unitarian Universalist membership
Some visitors to UU Peace Fellowship are new to the area and are
already a member of another UU fellowship.
If you are considering transferring your membership to UU Peace
Felllowship, call your previous church's office to make the
necessary changes and possibly arrange to continue receiving their
newsletter. If that congregation participated in the UUA Fair
Share contributions to the UUA, they may want to change your
status to "non-member" to reduce their Fair Share costs.
UU World Magazine
- If you have moved and you currently receive UU World magazine, contact its
subscription office to change your mailing address. (Receiving the
UU World is a benefit of a congregation that is a member of the
UUA).
